Royal Enfield opens service centres in Kaza and Keylong
Every year, thousands of bikers head to the Himalayas on what is now becoming almost like a rite of passage. The regions of Ladakh and Spiti are some of the most visited riding destinations in the country; and a huge majority of the riders headed there, do so atop Royal Enfields. Now, in an effort to cater to these riders, Royal Enfield has opened two new service centres at Kaza and Keylong in the Lahaul and Spiti districts of Himachal Pradesh.
The addition of these two service centres means Royal Enfield now has a total of 13 in the state and 943 across the country. The new centres are supposedly spread over 1,500 sq ft and offer full-service facilities with multiple service bays.
Commenting on the expansion of the service network, Mr Shaji Koshy, Head – India + Business, Royal Enfield said, “The Himalayas have been the spiritual home to Royal Enfield, and for over 60 years, riding enthusiasts have traversed these mountains on our motorcycles. Over the last few years, we have seen an increase in the number of people riding to the Himalayas on Royal Enfields. With the expansion of our service network in Himachal Pradesh at Kaza and Keylong, we have ensured that riders get adequate support, even at high altitudes and challenging terrains. With places like Leh, Ladakh, Lahaul and Spiti getting featured on every rider’s bucket list, these service centres will cater to riders travelling to Leh region from any of the two routes – via Manali or Shimla.”
