Updated TVS Apache RR 310 to be revealed on May 28

TVS has just teased an updated version of the Apache RR 310. The fully-faired motorcycle was launched in December 2017 and is set to get its first update, which includes some visual tweaks as well as some small performance enhancements.

The company has also revealed a teaser video that doesn’t reveal much, but comes with a tag line that reads, “Crafted to be invisible” and “coming soon.” While exact details are still unclear at the moment. This new version comes in addition to the recent update issued to fix the chain roller problem, reduce vibrations and increase the top speed. There is also a possibility that the bike will borrow some elements – like decals – from the TVS Apache RR 310 that was recently on display at an auto show in Columbia. The race-bike like branding, however, won’t make it.

In its current form, the RR 310 is powered by a 312.2cc, single-cylinder DOHC motor that makes 34hp at 9,700rpm and 27.3Nm of torque at 7,700rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

The updated 2019 Apache R R310 will go on sale soon and replace the current model. We could even see the price increase slightly. For reference, the current model is priced at Rs 2.24 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
