Asus ZenFone 5 price leaked online: Here's when it will launch

Asus is reportedly gearing up to launch the ZenFone 5 in Taiwan on April 12. The company introduced the smartphone during World Mobile Congress this year, along with Asus ZenFone 5Z and Asus ZenFone 5 Lite.
According to a report by My Drivers, the device will be priced at NT$1,990 (approximately Rs 26,000). At the moment, there is no information provided as to when the Asus ZenFone 5 Lite and Asus ZenFone 5Z will launch.
In terms of specifications, the Asus ZenFone 5 features a 6.2-inch FullHD+ IPS display with a 2246 x 1080 pixel resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM. It will only be available in one storage option – 64GB. Running Android Oreo with ZenUI 5.0 on top, the device comes equipped with a dual camera setup.
It includes a 12MP wide-angle lens with f/1.8 aperture along with a 12MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture. It also features an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC and GPS/A-GPS. A 3,300mAh battery completes the package.
On the other hand, the Asus ZenFone 5Z features a 6.2-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 2246 x 1080 pixel resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. Running Android Oreo with ZenUI 5.0 on top, the ZenFone 5Z will be available in three variants - 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
It comes equipped with a dual camera setup. It includes a 12MP wide-angle lens with f/1.8 aperture along with a 12MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture. It also features an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS and a 3.5mm headphone jack. A 3300mAh battery completes the package.
Lastly, the Asus ZenFone 5 Lite features a 6-inch QHD display with a 2160 x 1080 pixel resolution. It will be available in two variants - Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor with Adreno 505 GPU, and a Snapdragon 630 processor with Adreno 505 GPU. Additionally, it will also be available in 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage, and 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expanded up to 2TB via microSD card. Running Android Oreo with ZenUI 5.0 on top, the device is backed by a 3300mAh battery. It is rated to deliver up to 30 hours of talk time on 3G and 24 days of standby time on 4G respectively.
